STEP 1: Connect Tester
First perform a self-check by pushing the “self-test” button, then insert the AutoTest Trailer Socket Tester into the vehicle’s trailer socket.
STEP 2: Test Circuits
Return to the driver’s seat, switch on the ignition and activate each trailer light function.
STEP 3: Verify Results
Check that the corresponding light for each circuit illuminates on the tester. Any light that fails to illuminate indicates a wiring or continuity fault requiring further investigation.
